Staples, David B. Family Scholarship

This fund was established in 1983 by David B. Staples ’55 and Elizabeth Walker Staples ’51 in loving memory of their son. Awards will provide financial assistance to deserving students who have demonstrated outstanding promise as teachers and who have been accepted as majors into the Elementary Education program. Eligibility shall also be extended to students enrolled in a program leading to a degree in Nursing. Applicants must be New Hampshire residents of junior or senior class standing who display academic excellence and leadership ability. Recipients are eligible to receive the award for two years provided they continue to achieve a grade point average of 2.5 or better.
