Wurstner, Arline K '74 and Robert G Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Arline Kidder Wurstner ’74 and her husband Robert G. Wurstner in recognition of the excellent education provided that was provided for Arline by KSC. This scholarship shall provide financial assistance to full- and part-time students who have demonstrated outstanding promise as teachers with a special preference to candidates who specialize in Special Education. Recipients of Wurstner Scholarship Awards will be selected annually by the Scholarship Committee of Keene State College with the advice of faculty in Special Education, Elementary and Secondary Education. Eligible candidates shall have reached junior or senior standing as defined by the Registrar of the College. In general, the committee will consider such qualities as academic excellence, financial need, and promise of future success in teaching. Financial need shall not, however, be an absolute criterion for eligibility for Wurstner Scholarship awards.
