The Morris-August Honors Program provides exceptional students with intellectual stimulation and academically rich experiences for personal and professional growth. They integrate and expand on what they are learning in Honors courses by attending enrichment activities and events both on and off campus .Financial assistance from the William T. Morris Foundation comes in the form of annual travel support-for experiential travel abroad learning.

- Since this scholarship is need-based, please provide any context that you feel is relevant to your current financial situation. Are there extenuating circumstances that the committee should be aware of?
- The Honors Program offsets the vast majority of costs associated with Global Engagement travel courses. This scholarship is designed to provide additional aid to students who have demonstrated need. What do you plan to spend awarded funds on? Examples might include the $950 student cost, passport fees, living expenses while travelling, etc.
